<Appocomaster> We also sadly lost one of our players, Kublai of ND, and did move him to 1:1 in his memory. Best of wishes to his family and friends, and those of anyone else who was lost this round
<Appocomaster> This is still a tricky time for many people in many parts of the world and, as competitive as this is, it's only a game - so our best wishes from the PA Team to you all

<XiCoT> game is great u can improve many skills playing
<Appocomaster> or was being in the top galaxy and top alliance a bigger factor?
<stoom> I chose Cath to support sjor, like last round
<Appocomaster> cath and zik, tale as old as time tbh
<stoom> Cath is great for playing somewhat solo, stockpiling and selfcover. But with the amazing ppl in 4.6 and VGN
<stoom> It really worked out
<Appocomaster> it's always tricky to not make it too weak to self cover and yet not overpowered enough to roid hard
<stoom> Yeah, stats and xp were alot better than last 2 rounds since i returned
<Appocomaster> Was there a key point in the round where you felt, this is when Sjor is going to suck up having me help him and let me win?
<stoom> Haha yeah, actually there are 3 ppl who Id like to mention in that aspext

<stoom> Zzhou. Man, youre amazing. Ppl in normal tags dont know how easy they have it until you try and play a round in HEROES. Last day sucked but wtf man, hell of an accomplishment.

<XiCoT> but got a few escorts last 32 ticks that were decisive

<[L7]csheen> My rank is a result of the support of my Collosus gal, and Alliance (L7), and the fact that most of my alliance didn’t know how to build amps but instead built 20+ research labs. Importantly the COmikaze BG.

<zzhou> i would like to point out that stoom said he would scan for me this round, and failed at that. He also didn't know syrens were eta 8, he didn't know what Harpies do, and also failed at many quests by using bcalc to work out 3m and 4m ship quests

<[VGN]Caj> I think key to our victory was pre-round preparation! We did great job at allocating battlegroups for all members, with a leader target assigning for those battlegroups, we had some healthy competition amonsgt the battlegroups too.

<[VGN]Caj> I loved it, good balance
<[VGN]Caj> both attacking and defending had their own rewards
<[VGN]Caj> you just had to pick the correct time for both, which we did
<[VGN]Caj> other alliances defended too long, even when loosing roids, *cough* p3ng, *cough* w0
<[VGN]Caj> they should have let the roids go and retal
<[VGN]JUDO> the roid lost tota ust be the highst ever tho

<[VGN]Caj> Tbh, our biggest strength was our activity
<[VGN]Caj> we would be grounded for incs, and then as soon as we deciddd attack time, there was 100_+ fleets attacking
<[VGN]Caj> We would with exceptional fleet movement and great activity across our battlegroups

<[VGN]Caj> We went 50% zik, 25% cat, 25% ter.. every zik had either a cat cr or a ter de buddy
