Round 50 - 50 Shades of Treachery finishes on Friday, 1st March.
The End of Round Ceremony (EoRC) is scheduled for Friday 21:00 GMT for an hour in #planetarion on irc.netgamers.org (accessible via the com unit). It will consist of:
-interviews with the top players
-interviews with the top galaxy
-interviews with representatives of the top alliance
-the alliance competition (allcomp), where users will [tag] in their nickname for their alliance, and the winning alliance will win 3 credits.
After the EoRC has been completed, the game will be setup for the "havoc" period, of fast-ticked madness. This will run from 09:00 GMT on Saturday, 2nd March and continue until (approx) Friday 8th March. The setup will be as follows:
-All researches completed
-500 million resources total (split over metal/crystal/eonium according to race)
-3000 asteroids total (split over metal/crystal/eonium according to race)
-30 of each factory, 30 wave amplifiers, 50 security centres and 30 of each refinery ADDED to each planet
-XP will be kept
-Asteroid mining limits increased to 8 million asteroids total
-Maximum construction limit set at 800 constructions
-Ticks set at every 15 minutes
-Alliance waiting time will be reset
-Everyone will be able to defend in/out of alliance at the same ETA.
Round 51 signups will open on Friday, 15th March 2013 at 20:00 GMT. Round 51 will require you to pay for a credit if you wish to upgrade your account.
Submissions for Round 51's name is NOW OPEN - please e-mail suggestions to email@example.com, with the subject "Round Name Suggestion". Submissions will be open until Sunday, with the winner (selected on a public poll) getting a free credit.
Round 51 Ticks will start Friday, 22nd March at 20:00 GMT and continue for 7 weeks.
A summary of key changes is as follows:
-Maximum buddy packs are reverted back to 4 (from 6), with 2 late joiners from tick 336.
-Alliance limits will remain unchanged
-A general improvement of the alliance points system has occured
-Unit scans now ignore distorters
-Stats will be based on a previous round
