Round 48 - Roid Rage is coming to a close. Vacation mode will be removed later today for the final week.
The final tick, as mentioned on the Overview page, is 1177, and occurs at 20:00 GMT on Friday, 28th September.
The End of Round Ceremony (EoRC) is scheduled for Friday, 28th September at 21:00 GMT for an hour in #planetarion on irc.netgamers.org (accessible via the com unit). It will consist of:
-interviews with the top players
-interviews with the top galaxy
-interviews with representatives of the top alliance
-the alliance competition (allcomp), where users will [tag] in their nickname for their alliance, and the winning alliance will win 3 credits.
After the EoRC has been completed, the game will be setup for the "havoc" period, of fast-ticked madness. This will run from 09:00 GMT on Saturday, 29th September and continue until (approx) Thursday 11th October. The setup will be as follows:
-All researches completed
-500 million resources total (split over metal/crystal/eonium according to race)
-3000 asteroids total (split over metal/crystal/eonium according to race)
-30 of each factory, 30 wave amplifiers, 50 security centres and 30 of each refinery ADDED to each planet
-XP will be kept
-Asteroid mining limits increased to 8 million asteroids total
-Maximum construction limit set at 800 constructions
-Ticks set at every 15 minutes
-All alliances will be deleted and none will be allowed to be re-created.
-Further donations will occur at approximately 20:00 GMT on Thursday 4th October.
Round 49 signups will open on Friday, 12 October at 20:00 GMT.
Submissions for Round 49's name is NOW OPEN - please e-mail suggestions to email@example.com, with the subject "Round Name Suggestion". Submissions will be open until the end of the round, with the winner (selected on a public poll) getting a free credit.
Round 49 Ticks will start Friday, 19th October at 20:00 GMT and continue for 7 weeks.
Beta stats for next round will be available by next weekend on the beta server; changes will also be announced before signups.
The alliance limit will stay at 60, with 50 counting.
