<[ND]Mythx> I think for me being Cath helped a lot, having hulls1 and hulls3 made for effective fakes, and having a really good teamup partner in DemonatrX who managed to get ahold of CO pods early on helped a lot with that faking too

<[ND]Mythx> Yeah things got a bit interesting, lost about 2,500 roids in 4 ticks to all of CT and others when war broke
<[ND]Mythx> but up to that point it was just a roid race, so that made it a meaningful round from that point on

<Appocomaster> did you have any friendly banter within ND, or with NFI, about the race for the top?

<[ND]Mythx> ND for getting behind me and setting the goal of #1 planet when we all decided to stick with our friends NFI for the rest of the round and not go for #1 ally

<[KENNY]Kenny> Other alliances weren't as strong as we'd have hoped, there was little to no competition in terms of activity
<Sun_Tzu> and because we were in front, the choice was either to accept we'd get mass incs, or start making sure such incs didn't come our way, at least not hard enough to take us out

<Sun_Tzu> technically, we didn't kill asc, we started with that, then Asc organized 1 night of incs on ND, and JBG pm'd DZ saying "NAP us or we'll do that again", and they ran for a NAP

<Sun_Tzu> so that kind of busted our intention of being really allies with ND and taking down Asc together

<[KENNY]Kenny> and we didn't want any races that didn't kill/cause damage
