Round 28 Update
As previously announced, Round 28 ends at 19:00 GMT on Friday, 3rd October.
We will be holding an End of Round Ceremony at 20:00 GMT on Friday, 3rd October in #planetarion on the NetGamers chat network (irc.netgamers.org). This is to interview the top 3 planets, the top galaxy and representatives from the top alliance.
At 21:00 GMT we will have an Allcomp competition, where alliance members tag their alliance in their nickname in #planetarion and the top alliances wins 2 credits.
After this, the Havoc donations will be given.
This will consist of everyone gaining the following:
- All technologies completed
- 300 million resources (spread over metal, crystal and eonium according to your planet's race)
- 2000 asteroids (spread over metal, crystal and eonium according to your planet's race)
- 20 of each factory, 30 wave amplifiers, 35 security centers and 30 finance centers ADDED to their respective planet
Fleets will be recalled, but not deleted. XP will NOT be reset. The maximum construction limit will be set to 500 constructions, and asteroid mining limits will also be increased.
Havoc will start Saturday morning 9:00 GMT and run at 15 min ticks until Friday 10th October.
We have a speedgame with a Round 27 setup currently underway. We will reset the game on Friday evening and restart at 9:00 GMT on Saturday morning.
We will have a Creators Hour at 19:00 GMT on Wednesday, 8th October in #planetarion on NetGamers (irc.netgamers.org)
Please submit your round name to email@example.com with the subject "Roundname suggestion". A poll will go up on the forums during havoc where you can vote for the 10 names that have been shortlisted. You can submit as many names as you want - the more names you submit, the better your chances of winning!
We will be closing the competition on Saturday, so get your names in before then!
Signups for Round 29 will open on Monday, 13th October with ticks starting Friday 31st October
Some of the main changes for Round 29:
-Basic (free) accounts now have unlimited population, government, journal/history and buddy pack abilities.
-Premium (paid) accounts will have no adverts, more skins, and a one off boost to resources or asteroids as well as constructions or researches, to be selected at some time after upgrade.
-Covert ops agents and security guards now give value
-There is now a new Core Resource technology, and the last 3 give a bigger resource bonus
-Guards / security agents in production can be canceled for a partial refund
-The Technology and Surface Scans have been merged into the 'Development Scan', and a 'Landing Scan' replaces the Surface Scan. The Landing Scan can be used at ETA 1 to a target planet and lists the number of attacking and defending fleets, but not the co-ords or number of ships.
