Speedgames

We're pleased to confirm that we will have two speedgames in the forthcoming week.

Signups for the first one are available here: http://game.planetarion.com/signup.pl

The first starts at 12:00 GMT on Saturday, for 24 hours of 1 minute ticks.

The second starts on Monday at 12:00 GMT until Saturday at 12:00 GMT with 5 minute ticks. Signups for this event will open on Sunday evening, after the game has been reset from the first speedgame.

Both games will contain a shuffle at tick 36.

The game will be setup in a different way to Round 18. The changes (at least for the first game) are summarised as follows:
Alliance limits 30, top 20 count. This is the same for all alliances.
Buddy packs of 5.
Planet reset / delete option will be available, as mentioned previously.
Alliance mergers will be operational for any alliances who will, after merging, contain 20 members (as well as during the merging).

All Xan ships stated as "cloaked" are not visible to unit or fleet scans. They also do not show up on overview or galaxy status. Only their pods / structure killers / "all" ship do.

Wave tree now runs as follows:

Core resource tree:
Magma Extraction II & III, both 72 tick long researches that add an extra 2500 of each resource each tick.

HCT tree has been modified to:
(50,) 100, 200, 300, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 6000, 8000.
the 1000-3000 techs are 72 ticks, the 4000, 6000 and 8000 are 96 ticks to research.

The "ships" tech tree has an extra 144 tick technology to research the "All" targeting ship.
